Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our dance programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, shows and regular musical activities. Students thrive in bi-annual showcases.
Koori Choir
The Koori Choir brings students together to celebrate and share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through song. Participants develop confidence, teamwork and a deeper appreciation of First Nations stories and traditions.
Training and Concert Bands
Our Training and Concert Bands give students the chance to learn and perform music in a supportive ensemble setting. They develop musical skills, teamwork and confidence while performing at school events and concerts.
Gardening and Chicken Club
The Gardening and Chicken Club gives students the chance to care for plants and animals while learning about sustainability and responsibility. Families can enjoy the students’ efforts by purchasing fresh produce and eggs at our monthly farmers market stall, celebrating their teamwork and connection to the school community.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
